How It Works

Medication Helper uses your iPhone camera to read medication labels and present the information in a clear, easy-to-understand format. Simply point your camera at a medication label, and the app will identify the medicine and explain how to take it.

Frequently Asked Questions

The app can't read my label

Try these tips:

• Hold the label steady and ensure good lighting
• Avoid glare — tilt the bottle slightly if the label is shiny
• Make sure the text is in focus before tapping the capture button
• Take photos of different sides of the label (up to 6 photos)

Can I edit the results?

Yes. On the confirmation screen after scanning, you can tap any field to edit it. You can also edit saved medications from the Recent Scans screen.

Is my data private?

Yes. All photos and medication data stay on your device. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete a saved scan?

In the Recent Scans screen, swipe left on any saved medication to delete it.

The "Read Aloud" feature stopped working

Make sure your iPhone is not in Silent Mode (check the switch on the side of your phone). Also ensure the volume is turned up.
